GCC is a free optional open source compiler for use with MCS 5xx modules such as the ECM-0563-048, GCM-0563-048, HCM-0563-048, ECM-555-080, and ECM-565-128 pin modules.  GCC 4.6.0 is supported in MotoHawk 2011b and later.   This is an open source compiler and is considered in Beta status.   Greenhills 3.6 or 4.2.1 is the recommended compiler for production programs.

Note: For the 55xx module family such as the ECM-5554-112,  use GCC PowerPC eabi SPE.  

System Requirements:

  • Pentium® PC
  • 32 MB of RAM
  • Windows® 2000, XP, Vista, 7 or greater

Installation Instructions:

  1. The first step in installing this software is to download the file from this page. This file is an installation program that will step you through the installation process.
  2. After downloading this file, run it and follow the instructions on the setup dialogs.
