Woodward officially broke ground for the expansion of its Glatten plant in late July, The event was attended by company leaders, local officials, and business leaders. Construction has begun and is expected to be complete with the new expanded area fully commissioned and ready for production in April 2026. Products built at this site are integral to Woodward’s Purpose of delivering energy-control solutions our partners count on to power a clean future, specifically Power-to-X (P2X) systems. Woodward invested in alternative Power-to-X technology at an early stage and were the first manufacturer in the world to bring medium-speed methanol engines into series production together with our customers.
