Hydraulic Actuation

We have been the industry-recognized expert in design, development and manufacture of hydraulic primary, secondary and utility flight control actuators for commercial and military aircraft and rotorcraft for more than 70 years.

For decades, we have pioneered actuation solutions, from hydromechanical versions on early Douglas and Boeing jet transports to multi-redundant Fly-by-wire (FBW) actuators for current military fighter aircraft.

Our flight control actuators power flight-critical control surfaces on the most advanced aircraft with high performance and high reliability in demanding operational environments.

Precision Motors

Our motor expertise spans AC motors, brushless DC motors and stepper motors, as well as accessory devices such as brakes, clutches, tachometers, PMA alternators and eddy-current dampers.

  • Motors can also be supplied with our line of gearheads as a power drive unit or with a leadscrew output to deliver greater torque or force to the payload

Servo Valves

We lead the industry in design and manufacture of electro-hydraulic pressure and flow control servo valves for aerospace and defense. Nearly all fly-by-wire aerospace vehicles and engines rely on our solutions. Our servo valves are used worldwide on demanding fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, space vehicles, missiles and engine applications.

Thrust Reverser Actuation Systems (TRAS)

We are a world leader in Thrust Reverser Actuation Systems (TRAS). Our TRAS solutions deliver optimal aircraft performance by minimizing runway stopping distances. We provide locking actuators, feedback actuators, cowl actuators, isolation valves, directional control valves, manual drives, and other hardware for any hydraulic or electronically controlled TRAS system.
