Woodward’s MicroNet™ Plus customizable control system is a flexible, state-of-the-art system specifically designed for controlling gas and steam turbines.


 The MicroNet Plus control system provides a flexible platform to control any prime mover and its associated processes: 

  • High-speed control functions
  • System sequencing
  • Auxiliary system control
  • Surge control
  • Monitoring and alarming
  • Station control

The digital MicroNet control is available in both simplex and dual redundant configurations. Each version is expandable into multiple chassis as required by the application size, and will support any mix of I/O, including networked distributed I/O.

When upgrades are required, Woodward’s OEM and Channel Partners are able to provide upgrade services on all controls.


Through standardization and attention to software evolution, Woodward’s partners are able to adapt 1990’s software to today’s advanced control platforms with minimal or no changes required. Our world class software environment allows for updates to be done in GAP or imported as single blocks from other commonly used software environments including Matlab, C++, etc.
